Buju Banton start confirmed post prison show in Trinidad will keep according to his management.
The LGBT community in Trinidad and Tobago has bandage a cloud over the planned concert by trying to go authorities to foreclose the Grammy-winning reggae singer from entering the state for the performance in April next year. The gay community cites Buju Banton's past music which they labeled as "murder music" also equally his drug trafficking confidence.
A rep for the singer told Urban Islandz that his team and the promoter in T&T are pulling all the stops to ensure the show will proceed without incident. "The fans are eager to meet Buju Banton and they will see him perform just clearly some forces are trying to stop it just they tin't stop the Gargamel," his rep said. "Buju is already booked for the evidence and the fans want to see him, they are hungry to come across him perform and so you have to be a hateful person to attempt a terminate something like that."
According to section eight subsection 1D of Trinidad's Clearing Deed, Buju Banton tin be barred from entering the island because of his criminal record in the United States. All the same, he can write a letter to the Minister of Immigration and ask for an exemption.
Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, is currently on the last lap of his 10-twelvemonth prison judgement. He will be released and deport back to Jamaica in Dec of this year.
